Maria Paola Silva is an economist with a political science and development studies background. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Universidad de Los Andes, Colombia, a Master's in Public Policy from the same institution, and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, with a focus on gender and intersectional analysis and international security. She has experience working as a gender advisor in Colombia's Congress, consulting firms, local governments, and international organizations. She is the co-founder and writer for SietePolas, a Colombian feminist organization focusing on digital activism.
